Would you like to continue with your making but don't have the room at home?  Are you are a recent graduate and need a flexible and low cost space to make your work?  Or perhaps you a maker and have a specific project or commission to deliver but don't need a studio full time?  Then why not come and use our Studio?  Made By Ore run a flexible 'Hot Bench' system, so you can use the studio for as little or as long as you need to. 

SIMPLE HOT BENCHING - £20/day or £175/month

Come down for anything from one day to a month at your convenience.  You rent a bench and have full use of the tools and equipment (that you are trained to use) and are on your own working, i.e. you should be competent in the jewellery studio, be competent in all the techniques you will be attempting and know how to use all the tools you intend to use safely and correctly.   Generally this is for people who have studied jewellery at college or taken a few day/evening classes etc and would like time to develop on their own.  It is ideal for independent makers, working towards a show deadline or for project work.

SUPPORTED HOT BENCHING £45/day

This is for those who have a bit of experience, but don't feel ready to go it completely alone, and would like to work mostly independently but have the opportunity to ask a few questions here and there, or get some advice if something is not going quite as planned! Please note: this isn't a tutored session.

We have a fully equipped jewellery and silversmithing studio available at your disposal.  We aim to be flexible, so if you have specific requirements please get in touch to check we have what you need.   (You will need to bring along your own consumables such as silver etc.)

PERMANENT BENCH SPACE £175/month

We also have permanent bench space for professional jewellers and silversmiths.  The monthly rental includes a large jeweller's bench and storage space as well as use of the fully equipped workshop.
