SOLDERING MASTERCLASS
10am - 5pm
Soldering is one of the most important techniques for jewellers and silversmiths. This is a one day intensive course is designed to get your soldering up to a professional level. During the day we will cover the following soldering techniques: -
- use of pallions,
- sweat soldering
- stick feeding
- probe soldering
- hollow forms
- trouble shooting
By the end of the day you will have completed a number of samples and test pieces and understand how to approach a range of different solding problems and apply them to your own designs.
This class is suitable for those with some jewellery making or metalwork experience already.
All day classes run from 10am - 5pm and are held at our studio in Walthamstow.
Making jewellery can be messy so please don't wear your best clothes! And for Health and Safety reasons please wear sturdy footwear that covers your feet - i.e. no sandles, leather boots or shoes are best.
If you need reading glasses please bring them along, as we will be working on tiny things.

If for any reason you are unable to attend one of our classes you are welcome to send someone in your place, but unfortunately we cannot offer transfers or any refunds. On rare occasions details of Made By Ore classes or events may be changed without notice. If these changes adversely affect a class that you have already booked, in this instance, you will be able to change to a different class or receive a refund.
